Looked through runway pictures as well as Vogue's blog post today for the key Spring/Summer trends, which by the way, is trickier for me now that I live in the Southern Hemisphere :(.
Here's an excerpt from Vogue UK:
"At the fashion search engine Tagwalk, which scanned more than 11,000 images from the spring/summer 2024 shows in New York, London, Milan and Paris, looks that were tagged “minimalism” were up 46 per cent on the previous spring/summer 2023 season. Logo-tagged looks, meanwhile, were down 52 per cent, while ’90s-tagged looks were up 42 per cent."
So the good news is, if you have been good with keeping good essentials in your closet, you can reuse plenty of these pieces.
Here are 5 of my favourite S/S trends:
1. Polos
Thanks to Miu Miu, Zendaya and Wimbledon, this trend has crept up my list of favourites.
With the Olympics round the corner, it's a good time to bring out your polo dresses and tees. Instead of pairing the tops with jeans and pants, wear them with shorts or midi skirts instead.

2. Midi Skirts
I'm in my mid 40s, so I do gravitate more to midi skirts as compared to short ones. So this trend is right up my alley. It's important to get the proportions of your outfit right when you wear a midi skirt. Remember the rule of thirds!

3. Short shorts
I wouldn't touch micro shorts personally, although I do think it looks great on supermodels. But short shorts are perfect for Singapore's sweltering tropical heat. I would pair this with oversized jackets and tailored shirts and tops to prevent it from looking too revealing.

4. 90s look
If you've seen our recent IG post, you will know that I'm happy the 90's trend is back! Watch your re-runs of Friends and Spice girls music videos to get inspired.

5. Wide leg trousers
Last but not least, wide legged mid/high waisted trousers. They don't hug your hips (which makes purchasing them online a little easier), and pairing your tops with pants instead of jeans instantly elevates a look.
